• Netatmo - News Backoffice

Netatmo is a French company that manufactures smart home devices. Founded in 2011, it has launched a variety of products including security cameras, personal weather sensors and an internet-connected smoke detector.

We developed a in-app news back-office from scratch. Work included front- and back-end, news delivery API, cloud infrastructure and continuous delivery pipeline configuration. The solution is being used by sales and marketing teams to show news tailored to specific users inside company mobile applications. The targeting is based on products they have bought, times when they were activated, region, language and other factors. The tool is also capable of estimating numbers of targeted users and scheduling push notification campaigns.

Technology: Jamstack, front-end - Vue.js / Nuxt.js SPA, Vuetify.js material design components, back-end - serverless functions written in Node.js and Python, CosmosDB database via MongoDB protocol, Microsoft Azure infrastructure, Gitlab CI pipeline.

  • The in-app news backoffice interface really helped us to optimize the creation and sending process of our campaigns and made us more autonomous. Jarek was receptive to our needs and developed lots of functionalities that were essential for us in a short period of time!
