• Sojourner

Sojourner is a conference companion progressive web application. It was developed for FOSDEM, the biggest free / open-source software conference in Europe. In December 2019 it was adapted for and used at FlowCon, the best Lean and Agile conference in Paris.

Before creating the app, we carefully researched the business case while participating in several conference editions and by discussing its need with other attendees. Next, we designed the application flow and mocked-up the user interface. After this we architected and developed the application, set-up no-backend storage, configured the continuous delivery pipeline and hosting solutions.

Technology: Vue.js front-end, Material Design with Vuetify library, Workbox PWA toolkit, Firebase storage, Netlify hosting, Adobe XD mock-ups.

  • „Thanks for the app! I've used it for FOSDEM'20 and found it super convenient.
